Leader's Outdoor Weekend Itinerary For Boy & Girl Scout Troop Leaders & Volunteers
Friday
Setup Camp.
Late evening outdoor camp cooking sampler and weekend briefing.
Saturday (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)
Session I (Saturday morning)
Map & Compass : Participants will learn how to read topo maps and how to use a compass in order to find their way in a natural area.
Session II (Saturday afternoon)
Disc Golf : Combines a favorite recreational pasttime - frisbee throwing - with one of the world's great sports - golf. In Disc Golf, players count how may "strokes" (throws) it takes to get from the tee to the hold.
Saturday Evening Programs:

• Whitewater Q & A ***Come meet our staff and learn more about Whitewater Challengers many outdoor programs and locations. This Q & A session begins at 8:30pm (sharp), at our Adult Sanctuary. (Refreshments will be served.)
• Crawl Wall
• Evening Campfire
Sunday
(Breakfast and Lunch included)
Learn to Whitewater Raft: Everyone will experience the fun of whitewater rafting. Guides, equipment, transportation and lunch on the river are included on this awesome outdoor day. (Alternate biking trip available upon request. Limited availability.)
Return to Base Camp: Check-out around 5:00PM.
*Leaders' Outdoor Weekend is limited to participants 16 years of age and older.
