     The blowout dam release of all dam releases has just been announced for the Lehigh River for Friday, September 17th.  Cancel work!  Call in sick!  Do whatever it takes.  You don't wanna miss this one!

     Typical natural flows on the Lehigh are about 200 to 400 cubic feet of water per second.  Typical dam releases are about 750 to 850 cfs.  But on September 17th, we'll be riding a whopping surge of 4000 cfs!

     This is BIG water ... BIG waves ... BIG thrills!.

     And we'll be running the entire 25 miles of the Gorge ... twice the length of our normal day-trips, at a bargain basement price ... just $58.95. ($20 off our regular price).

     Keep the younger kids at home for this one.  Minimum age will be 14 (not the usual 6 or 9).  This is a first-time-ever scheduled mega-release from the Corps of Engineers, thanks to all the extra water they've stored up from this wetter-than-normal summer.
