At the Black River Canyon, our guide crew offers high-adventure rafting that ranges from Class III-IV under moderate water levels, to serious Class V rapids at high water levels. Safety has always been our highest priority, and our unparalleled record over the past three decades demonstrates the effectiveness and value of a guide training program that serves as a model for others in our industry.

Our Black River guides are state certified, but also trained by Whitewater Challengers to standards that exceed state requirements.  Our combined 5-river guide crew boasts more than 500 years of whitewater paddling experience. 

Each of our river trips includes careful pre-trip instruction for our guests, and every trip is accompanied by first aid supplies and emergency rescue equipment.  We remain excited about the safety record we've compiled since 1975, and we welcome the opportunity to answer any questions or concerns you might have.
